Our Club
What We Do
Musical Memories Katy is a club that uses the power of music to reach out to those with neurodegenerative diseases and lend a helping hand. Through the usage of Memory Discos, where we use headphones to create a focused and accommodating environment while we all listen to the same music, we offer a fun way to get exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation for both patients and caregivers. Recent research has shown that these interventions can help to manage symptoms of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
