The course will provide recent scientific advances on the knowledge of foods for health with evidence based research justification.  The course is designed to include interdisciplinary topics emphasizing on horticultural science, nutrition and biochemistry. A unique integrated blend of conventional, worldwide web and distance education through TTVN will be used to stimulate and develop thought provoking and critical thinking abilities among students.
