Step Up & Scale Down is a 12 week Exercise and Nutrition Program designed to promote habits such as physical activity and healthy eating that encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Program Goals:Participants will lose weight.
Participants will increase physical activity.
Participants will use the new MyPlate in meal planning.
Participants will increase their intake of fruits and vegetables.
Step Up & Scale Down is a researched-based program based on the USDA 2010 Dietary Guidelines, intended to help Americans choose a healthful eating plan within their calorie requirements to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The Dietary Guidelines provide sound scientific information about how proper dietary habits can promote health and reduce risk for major chronic diseases.
Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm on 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23 and 8/6 (yes we skip 7/30)
