Easy tips to survive the Holidays without gaining weight!

Nobody wants long lists of more “to dos” before the holidays. Get together with family and friends and cherish traditions. Spend these times improving your emotional and physical health.
Nobody wants long lists of more “to dos” before the holidays. Get together with family and friends and cherish traditions. Spend these times improving your emotional and physical health.
Here are a few easy tips:
- 1) Put away the cell phones. Stay away from the TV. Instead go for a walk or play outdoors. Take a walk, play ball or go for a hike. Spend time together, exercise and have fun!
- 2) Eat your food slowly. This will give you time to feel full.
- 3) Use smaller plates. Studies show that people automatically eat less when they use smaller plates.
- 4) Do not nibble on party foods. Get a plate and keep track of what you are eating!
Enjoy the holidays, have fun, create memories and be healthy and happy!
