About Dr. Zapata:
Dr. Zapata is the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Economist located at the Texas A&M Research and Extension Center in Weslaco serving the 20-county area of the South Extension District. Dr. Zapata develops and coordinates Extension educational programs and applied research related to Farm Management and Marketing by providing technical expertise and educational materials for producers, Extension agents, specialists, clientele, and organizations.
