The following positions were received by the RPTS department and may be acceptable for internship credit. For more information on receiving RPTS 484 credit for an internship, contact sgscott@tamu.edu. RPTS majors are required to register for 6 credits of RPTS 484 in their degree plans; a minimum of 400 hours of work (paid or unpaid) is required. Students may work full-time in the summer or during a fall/spring semester, or part-time over two or more semesters.

Many cities will arrange multi-faceted internships upon a student’s request; most have summer positions with day camps and aquatics; others have structured (or semi-structured) recreation internship programs in place.
