The Value of Ecosystem Services in Texas

This study recommends ecosystem service benefit values for Texas to support the evaluation of nature-based green infrastructure projects in a benefit-cost analysis context.

Priority Ecoregions studied:

  • Wetlands
  • Grasslands/prairies
  • Urban green open space

The full report also provides a mechanism to capture recreation value per acre for a green infrastructure project that provides free community access, as well as three Texas specific case studies, and a list of references.
