4 events,National 4-H Council will award 12 LGUs $4,000 each to send a youth-adult team to attend the Healthy Living Summit on April 21-24, 2022. This is a competitive opportunity open to all LGUs* serving under-resourced populations. Youth to be selected through lenses of racial equity, health equity, economic mobility, and social justice. Please apply by February 10, 2022. *LGUs receiving Well Connected Community sub-grants are not eligible to apply. Click here to apply. |

9 events,On behalf of the hosting Texas 4-H STEM Ambassadors, we are excited to announce that at long last Texas 4-H is going back to NASA’s Johnson Space Center. This is an overnight “camping” experience held at the space center that will include hands-on STEM activities, an astronaut guest speaker, a tram tour of rocket park, and free roam of the museum’s exhibits. It promises to be a great time for all space enthusiasts! More information is available in PDF. The Western Governors’ Foundation has launched the Western Governors’ Leadership Institute to recognize, reward and encourage the effective exercise of leadership by young adults across the West, and encourage its future development. The Institute will select one young adult and one alternate from each western state and territory to attend an all-expense-paid leadership forum and the Western Governors’ Association Annual Meeting in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, July 24-28, 2022.
