The format of the 2020 Texas 4-H Virtual LEAD Academy will offer concurrent workshops over the course of two-days focused on these topic areas. Unlike the face-to-face event, this year’s Virtual LEAD Academy will be offering workshops targeting Intermediate and Senior Age 4-H members along with Adults. There have been a few glitches found in the way I set up the registration on the Entomology Collection Contest setup in 4-H CONNECT. We will leave registration open through tomorrow at 5pm so families have a chance to get everything loaded now that the errors have been corrected. Due to the hectic and unprecedented spring we are having, the deadline for Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors has been extended to June 1, 2020! Also, the HTYA Summer Summit will be very different! The plan is to provide a one-day event on July 22. This event will feature both a face-to-face and virtual component. Local sites will be identified for youth to gather (if allowed) and participate in hands-on experiences while speakers will be delivering messages virtually across the state at the same time!
