The primary focus of Dr. Mora’s Wildlife Ecotoxicology Lab is in the fields of avian ecology and toxicology, assessing effects of contaminants or other stressors on wildlife populations.

Research involves the use of biochemical tools (biomarkers), analytical chemistry (metals, organic compounds, PCBs, fire retardants, etc), stable isotope techniques, and systems modeling to understand the dynamics, movement, and effects of chemicals on ecosystems and wildlife.
