{"id":3329,"date":"2018-10-02T15:12:41","date_gmt":"2018-10-02T20:12:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=3329"},"modified":"2018-10-02T15:13:14","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T20:13:14","slug":"d11-shooting-sports-coach-training","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/event\/d11-shooting-sports-coach-training\/","title":{"rendered":"D11 Shooting Sports Coach Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>District 11 4-H is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Shooting Sports Coaches\u2019 Training for Archery, Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun in Markham (Matagorda County) December 8-9, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This training is open to any potential coaches across the state.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration is open now on <a href=\"https:\/\/texas.4honline.com\/\">4\u2010H Connect<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Look for <u>2018 D11 Shooting Sports Coaches\u2019 Training \u2013 December 8-9, 2018, Markham, TX.<\/u><\/li>\n<li>Registration will be open starting October 1 and closes November 21, 2018.<\/li>\n<li>Cost is $120.<\/li>\n<li>All County Extension Agents are able to register for free.<\/li>\n<li>Please see attached flyer and training information document for more details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/files\/2018\/10\/18_Dec-District-11-Shooting-Sports-Training-Flyer.pdf\">18_Dec District 11 Shooting Sports Training Flyer<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/files\/2018\/10\/Dec-18_Shooting-Sports-Training-Info.pdf\">Dec 18_Shooting Sports Training Info<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>All participants must be ACTIVE volunteers in 4-H Connect.\u00a0 This includes passing the volunteer screening that is a part of the volunteer enrollment process. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additional details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration includes program materials, lunch, dinner and other training supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Participants may only receive certification in ONE shooting discipline (archery, pistol, rifle, or shotgun) per training weekend.<\/li>\n<li>Lodging is on your own at this training. Various lodging options are available in and around Bay City. Please see website for more details.<\/li>\n<li>Tentative agenda, what to bring list, and release forms can be found on the website.
