As with all things new, there are some kinks that are still being worked out; if you come across an issue please let me know so that I can help you work through them. I have attached the Welcome to Texas 4-H enrollment guidelines, which includes a chart on page 2 for you to follow when enrolling that is a great tool to utilize.<\/p>\n<p><u><a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/files\/2020\/09\/2020-4H-Online-Enrollment-Instructions-090920.pdf\">2020-4H-Online-Enrollment-Instructions<\/a><\/u><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><u>PALA MEETING<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our first PALA Meeting of the year will be held at the <strong>Extension Office in the Classroom on Tuesday, September 15<sup>th<\/sup> at 6:30 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Open to all Wharton County 4-H Parents that would like to support our 4-H programs and youth. Voting is limited to registered volunteers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please bring the attached COVID-19 Screening Form.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/files\/2020\/09\/2020-4H-COVID-19-Screening-Form-090920.pdf\">2020-4H-COVID-19-Screening-Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><u>COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our first County Council Meeting of the year will be held in the <strong>Extension Office parking lot on Tuesday, September 22<sup>nd<\/sup><\/strong>. Please bring your lawn chair and dress appropriately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The meeting will begin at 7 pm but come early for a sweet treat from the El Campo Ice Cream Truck!\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The Ice Cream Truck will be in the parking lot beginning at 6:40 pm.<\/strong> Special Thanks to PALA for treating <strong>our<\/strong> County Council members \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n<p>Our Community Service Project for the month will be collecting supplies for SPOT. They have requested the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>35 lb tubs of unscented cat litter (TSC sells for $11)<\/li>\n<li>3 lb bags of Purina Kitten Chow<\/li>\n<li>10 lb bags of cheap cat litter (from Walmart\/Dollar General is fine)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Anyone in attendance must also bring the attached COVID-19 Screening form with them and turn it in. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/wharton4h\/files\/2020\/09\/2020-4H-COVID-19-Screening-Form-090920.pdf\">2020-4H-COVID-19-Screening-Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note that County Council meetings are open to all County Council delegates as well as any 4-H member who would like to attend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New 4-H Year! 4-H enrollment has officially kicked off at the link below: https:\/\/v2.4honline.com\/#\/user\/sign-in As you read in the August Newsletter, 4-H Connect has upgraded to 4-H Online.
