I know I have spoken to some of you about the potential change for District Food Show and Food Challenge and we just received the official e-mail yesterday evening. Please see what was sent out below:<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter much consideration and deliberation amongst the Food Show and Food Challenge Committee, a decision to move the District 11 Food Show and Food Challenge to April 12, 2019 has been made.\u00a0\u00a0 The event will be held in conjunction with Spring Spectacular, however, Food Challenge will take place on the morning of April 12 and Food Show will start later in the afternoon.\u00a0 Registration for the entire event will be on the Spring Spectacular event registration.\u00a0 The deadline to register will be the same as Spring Spectacular, March 15, 2019.\u00a0 Late Registration will be from March 16 \u2013 March 22, 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

One important thing with this change of adding to Spring Spectacular is that there will be a big need for judges. So please, please be thinking ahead on if you will be willing to serve as a judge for this event. Since the committee has worked with us to move the event off of the Sale of Excellence it is important that we show our gratitude by volunteering where needed.<\/p>\n
