Good Afternoon,<\/p>\n

Many of you have voiced concern about needing more time to sell raffle tickets. This fundraiser helps out a large amount of our programming and operating funds for Wharton County 4-H. Everyone in the county benefits form the money that is raised. Because of the recovery effort from Hurricane Harvey, many of you have had a hard time selling the tickets. I am extending the drawing to Sunday November 12 during our county Food Show\/Food Challenge. The deadline to turn in books will be Thursday, November 9. The 4-H office is closed on Friday, November 10 in observance of Veteran\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

Please make every effort to sell at least one book of tickets or more. If anyone needs more books I have extras at the 4-H office. You can come by anytime and pick them up.<\/p>\n
