For my club, my community, my country and my world.<\/p>\n

4-H Emblem<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The emblem is a green four-leaf clover with a white H in each leaf. The letters in the emblem stand for
\nHEAD, HEART, HANDS\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0HEALTH<\/strong>, the foundation of all 4-H programs.<\/p>\n

HEAD
\n<\/strong>Learning to think, making decisions, understanding the \u201cwhys\u201d, gaining new and valuable knowledge.<\/p>\n

HEART
\n<\/strong>Being concerned with the welfare of others, accepting citizenship responsibilities, determining values and attitudes by which to live, learning how to work with others.<\/p>\n

HANDS
\n<\/strong>Learning new skills, perfecting skills already known, developing pride in work and respect for it.<\/p>\n

HEALTH
\n<\/strong>Practicing healthful living, protecting the well-being of self and others, making conservative use of leisure time.<\/p>\n

The four-fold development is vital to every individual. All four of the \u201cH\u2019s\u201d should become an important part of the goals 4-H members identify as they conduct 4-H projects and activities.<\/p>\n
