DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again to celebrate our youths’ achievements! The Wharton County 4-H Annual Awards Banquet will be held Thursday\, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. at WCYF Crescent Hall. RSVP’s for the banquet are due by August 5\, 2017. Please RSVP using the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/VezFXLG616CZRBUo1 \nAwards will include certificates for County participation\, personalized plaques for District participation and special personalized awards for both State and major show participants. County Scholarships will also be awarded. \n  \nParents please download and fill out the Project Recognition Form. In order for your child to be recognized at the banquet\, you MUST submit this form to the County Extension Office by JULY 21\, 2017. When you have completed the document\, be sure to use the “Save As” option to rename (add your child’s name to the end of the file name) and save your document. You can email the form to stacey.shanks@ag.tamu.edu or Rachel.berry@ag.tamu.edu or fax to 979-532-8863. \n  \nIn addition\, this year we will have a Silent Auction at the Awards Banquet to help raise funds for the program. We are asking for donations of items that are valued at at least $25. If you are willing and able to donate\, please send a brief description of the item by July 21. Items will be due at the County Extension Office by August 5\, 2017.
