DESCRIPTION:  \nCOUNTY COUNCIL MEETING \nOur first County Council Meeting of the year will be held in the Extension Office parking lot on Tuesday\, September 22nd. Please bring your lawn chair and dress appropriately. \nThe meeting will begin at 7 pm but come early for a sweet treat from the El Campo Ice Cream Truck! The Ice Cream Truck will be in the parking lot beginning at 6:40 pm. Special Thanks to PALA for treating our County Council members 😊 \nOur Community Service Project for the month will be collecting supplies for SPOT. They have requested the following: \n\n35 lb tubs of unscented cat litter (TSC sells for $11)\n3 lb bags of Purina Kitten Chow\n10 lb bags of cheap cat litter (from Walmart/Dollar General is fine)\n\n Anyone in attendance must also bring the attached COVID-19 Screening form with them and turn it in.  \n2020-4H-COVID-19-Screening-Form \nPlease note that County Council meetings are open to all County Council delegates as well as any 4-H member who would like to attend.

Family-validated or family-registered gilt of any kind will not be accepted as a valid entry. \nOrder FORM & PAYMENT must be physically in the Extension Office by the above deadline. If you mail your order\, make sure it arrives on or before the above deadline. Parents\, Exhibitors\, and Ag Teachers need to be present to fill out the required paperwork. \n  \nHeifer Exhibitors: I will need a scanned color registration paper to upload into them system. Please feel free to send those ahead of time. If you need to come into the office to have them scanned Stacey can assist you with that. Also be sure to bring your papers with you on Monday. SUMMARY:Texas 4-H Roundup
DESCRIPTION:WHAT IS TEXAS 4-H ROUNDUP?\nFor youth throughout the State of Texas\, Texas 4-H Roundup is the culmination of a 4-H member’s year\nof hard work and dedication. It is designed to supplement the county 4-H program and project work.\nEach year contests are held throughout the counties\, the twelve Texas A&M AgriLife Extension districts\,\nand at the state level. Texas 4-H Roundup has been held in College Station\, Texas since its inception\n(except for 2012)\, and over 4\,000 youth and adults attend annually. Roundup consists of approximately\n50 competitive events\, and most of these contests require each individual or team to qualify at the\ncounty and district level. Texas 4-H Roundup also offers invitational (non-qualifying) contests that allow\nintermediate and senior 4-H members to participate.\n4-H members and adults looking for non-competitive opportunities can participate in one of the many\neducational workshops offered throughout the event. Roundup is scheduled to officially begin Monday\, June\n10\, 2019 and end Thursday\, June 13\, 2019.
