Please let us know by <strong>June 2nd. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I will provide an orientation that morning, so if you haven\u2019t judged before, that\u2019s o.k.!<\/p>\n<p><em>*If you are the parent of a current 4-H\u2019er who is turning in a book, we will put you in a different age division\/category that what your youth is submitting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our youth work hard on their projects throughout the year and we want to provide encouraging feedback for those that choose to take the next step by filling out a record book to document their experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>County 4-H Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Criteria-Based Awards<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Link to application<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1EFCb1oWTnwomCtSHpwORqLNuwHqwouwM_5LDumCC6F4\/edit\"><em>\u00a0form<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Requirements for\u00a0<strong><u>Honor Roll<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><u>Letterman Awards<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0may be met in one year or over the course of several years. If met over multiple years, it must be while the member is in their current age division.<\/li>\n<li>If a member has previously received the\u00a0<strong><u>Honor Roll<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><u>Letterman<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0award, they must meet the criteria with all new activities to again be eligible.<\/li>\n<li>Youth submitting\u00a0<strong><u>Community Service Awards<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0are NOT required to submit a record book but must complete the application completely and submit logs\/records of service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rookie<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Honor Roll<\/strong>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<strong>Letterman Awards<\/strong>\u00a0require submission of a\u00a0<strong>4-H Record book\u00a0<\/strong>(Due @ Extension Office by\u00a0<strong><u>June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong><u>)<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Merit-Based Awards<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Link to application\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1-69IbDV72fjxlOd-xg_QmvqMEjjRA8hKhjWFz2vfQuM\/edit\"><em>form<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Outstanding New Member \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Junior (3-5 grades), Intermediate (6-8 grades), Senior (9-12 grades)<\/li>\n<li><strong>4-H Achievement \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Junior (3-5 grades), Intermediate (6-8 grades), Senior (9-12 grades).\u00a0<em>Eligible to receive once per age division.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Danforth \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Senior age division (9-12 grades) only.\u00a0<em>Eligible to receive once in your 4-H career.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold Star \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Senior age division (9-12 grades) only.\u00a0<em>Eligible to receive once in your 4-H career. Applicants must be 15 years old, with 3 years minimum of 4-H membership, completed a minimum of 3 projects, demonstrated leadership, and completed at least 2 4-H record books.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All Merit-Based Awards<\/strong>\u00a0require\u00a0<strong>Submission of 4-H Record book<\/strong>\u00a0(Due @ Extension Office by June 1, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>All Merit-Based Awards<\/strong>\u00a0require applicants to attend an\u00a0<strong>interview<\/strong>\u00a0with a panel of judges (<strong>June 29, 2026<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><em>*Candidates who choose to complete their interview virtually will be held to the same standards and expectations as those interviewing in person.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a professional appearance, dressing in appropriate attire, being in a quiet and distraction-free environment, and demonstrating punctuality and preparedness.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Choosing a virtual format does not exempt candidates from any part of the interview evaluation criteria. Virtual interviews will take place during the same timeframe as the in-person interviews on June 29.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>**<strong>Candidates applying for the ALA Scholarships MUST interview in person.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gold Star applicants<\/strong>\u00a0will be required to prepare a short, two-minute speech highlighting their 4-H career.
