{"id":13920,"date":"2025-07-01T09:00:36","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T14:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/urbantarrant4h\/?p=13920"},"modified":"2025-07-01T09:01:04","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T14:01:04","slug":"4-h-adult-awards-4-h-club-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/urbantarrant4h\/2025\/07\/01\/4-h-adult-awards-4-h-club-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"4-H Adult Awards &#038; 4-H Club Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Sent,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4-H Members and Families,<\/p>\n<p>In Tarrant County, we are fortunate to have amazing volunteers who work diligently in support of our 4-H youth.\u00a0 In an effort to provide public recognition, the following awards have been established. \u00a0A volunteer may receive each award only once.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>4-H Adult Award Application 2025<\/u><\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/HmzYjeSjeRDvjvW66\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/HmzYjeSjeRDvjvW66<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Youth and Adults are encouraged to submit nominations for the following awards. \u00a0More than one person can nominate an individual or organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Friend of 4-H Award\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This award is presented to a group, business, organization, or individual that has contributed to the development of the overall 4-H program in Tarrant County.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Alumni Award<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This award recognizes a former 4-Her who continues to support the 4-H program and has made significant contributions in the community in an effort to \u201cMake the Best Better.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Distinguished Leader Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Distinguished Leader Award recognizes an adult for his\/her efforts to improve the 4-H program and make an impact on the 4-H members, not just within the local club, but at the county, district, and state level as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Due by Friday, July 25, 2025, by 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>4-H Club Awards 2025<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>:<\/u><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/enrp71awLyPb8Co19\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/enrp71awLyPb8Co19<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Only the manager for the 2024-2025 year, or their designee, should complete this form.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nAward Descriptions<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Honor Club Award<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clubs that meet 12 of the 16 standards of excellence. \u00a0By meeting these standards, clubs ensure proper management and leadership and can better fulfill the mission of making the best better.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Blue Ribbon Club Award\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This award is given in recognition to clubs that place the youth as their focus.
