Good Afternoon 4-Hers,
I hope that this email finds you well. You are receiving this email because it is that time of year again, Fall Livestock show entries are just around the corner. As you saw from a previous email that the State Fair of Texas has been canceled this year. However, please do not panic just yet, as there are a few other options in terms of shows for the fall run. The following shows are also options for the Fall Run:
West Texas State Fair – Abilene September 10 – 19
East Texas State Fair – Tyler September 25 – October 4
Heart of Texas Fair – Waco October 8 – 18
However, please keep in mind that these shows can also be canceled as we move forward with this Pandemic. As I know more about the status of these shows I will let you know. Also, be on the lookout for an email from me about Livestock Show entry nights. We are going to be doing Major Show entries differently this year. More details will be coming as we move forward. But please pay attention to your emails for that. These entry nights will be for large livestock only (rabbits and poultry will enter on their own as they have in the past).
Important Note:
Start paying attention to emails about when it will be time to re-enroll in 4-H for the 2020-2021 year. Starting September 1st, we will start sending out emails with information concerning 2021 Livestock show entries and you do not want to miss out that information!!!!! The emails will be going through 4-H Online, so if you are not re-enrolled then you will not receive the emails. Be sure you have this task done by September 1st, so you will not be left out!!!!
