2016 Dormant dryland bermudagrass pasture weed control trial results

Weed control trial was conducted on March 16, 2016 in Munday, TX on dormant bermudagrass pasture. Initial weed infestation level of the dormant bermudagrass pasture was in the range of  20-65% with various broadleaf weeds such as Thistle, mustard, dandelion, and horseweed. The study was laid out as a Randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replications. Total of 11 treatments were compared based on % injury observed on broadleaf weeds. 2015 Preliminary result: Dryland Teff fertility trial

Teff [Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter] is a relatively new forage crop in the Rolling Plains of Texas, and it is getting popular in other surrounding areas. Teff is a warm-season annual grass that is native to Ethiopia. It can be harvested several times during the hot summer and produces high quality hay. The question is whether the Teff is adapted in our Hot and Dry summer in the Rolling Plains of Texas!
