Dr. Shockley, one of the foremost economic experts on carbon in the country, walked us through what the carbon industry is, what carbon markets are, and where we can go for more information.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Episode #152:\u202f<\/span><\/b>Jason Hill<\/span><\/a> (Water Law FAQs Part 2)\u00a0 Jason was such a popular guest in his first episode, we had him back for more!\u00a0 Texas water law is complex, particularly when it comes to surface water rights.\u00a0 Jason is a water lawyer who represents a host of clients in water-related transactions and litigation.\u00a0 He answered some of the most common questions rural landowners have when it comes to water law.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Episode #154:\u202f<\/span><\/b>Beth Rumley<\/span><\/a> (National Pork Producers Council v. Ross<\/em>)\u00a0 It’s not all that often that the Unites States Supreme Court issues an opinion in an agricultural law matter, but it happened this term in\u00a0National Pork Producers Council v. Ross<\/em>, where the Justices allowed California’s Prop 12 animal welfare law to stand.\u00a0 B<\/span>eth Rumley, Senior Staff Attorney at the National Agricultural Law Center, joined us to explain what was at issue in this case, how the Court ruled, and what will happen next.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
