lawsuits filed.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Biden WOTUS Rule that was previously announced on December 30, 2022 has been officially published in the Federal Register on January 18, 2023.\u00a0 The effective date will be March 20, 2023.\u00a0 Lawsuits have already been filed, including two in Texas federal court.\u00a0 One was filed by a number of industry groups including several ag groups like Texas Farm Bureau, American Farm Bureau Federation and National Corn Producers.\u00a0 Read Complaint <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fb.org\/files\/3-2023-cv-00020_(0001)_COMPLAINT_against_Lieutenant_General_Scott_A._Spellmon_Michael_L._Connor_Michael_S._Regan_U.S._En.pdf\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 Another was filed by the State of Texas and a number of state agencies.\u00a0 Read Complaint <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasattorneygeneral.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/press\/Texas%20WOTUS%20Complaint.pdf\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 I&#8217;m working on my summary blog post and will have that posted in the next couple of weeks.\u00a0 In the meantime, Brigit Rollins at the National Agricultural Law Center posted a great summary <a href=\"https:\/\/nationalaglawcenter.org\/wotus-update-epa-releases-highly-anticipated-final-rule-to-redefine-waters-of-the-united-states\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>*Key considerations for 2022 tax returns published.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>My friends at the Iowa State Center for Agricultural Law &amp;
