This award-winning program covers key legal and economic issues related to grazing and hunting leases.\u00a0 We’ve got three locations on our calendar for 2023:\u00a0 Waco<\/a>, Boerne<\/a>, and Decatur<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Dr. Greg Kaase, an ag economist, will discuss how to structure leases and how much to charge, while I will cover why written leases are important, what terms should be included, and what steps can be taken to shield a landowner and tenant from potential liability for injuries.\u00a0 This year, we’re excited to add an additional topic, with Casey Matzke, Extension Program Specialist, covering Pasture, Range, and Forage Insurance.<\/div>\n
