wells going dry after Vista Ridge pipeline built.<\/strong>\u00a0 If you have been here a while, you know we&#8217;ve followed along with a number of legal issues related to the Vista Ridge pipeline, whereby groundwater was pumped in Milam and Burleson counties and transported to San Antonio.\u00a0 [Read article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texastribune.org\/2021\/08\/02\/san-antonio-water-supply-rural-wells\/?utm_source=Texas+Tribune+Newsletters&amp;utm_campaign=4aee4d0504-trib-newsletters-top-story-alert&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=0_d9a68d8efc-4aee4d0504-101246737&amp;mc_cid=4aee4d0504&amp;mc_eid=0d0aea8887\">here<\/a>.]<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Article outlines estate planning mistakes to avoid.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Dallas Morning News published an article discussing five critical estate planning mistakes to avoid.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen several of these bite people, so it&#8217;s a good reminder!\u00a0 [Read article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sponsored\/2021\/08\/08\/careful-drafting-is-crucial-five-secret-laws-that-could-undermine-your-estate-plan\/\">here<\/a>.]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Upcoming Programs\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got a couple of events for private groups in the next couple of weeks.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be chatting with the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce about hot topics in agricultural law next week, and the following week, I&#8217;ll be presenting on estate planning to the H-Calf Committee of the Houston Livestock Show &amp;
