We’ve been working hard over the last year on a really exciting project.\u00a0 Our Owning Your Piece of Texas: Key Laws Texas Landowners Need to Know Online Course<\/a> is now available!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Given the popularity of our live Owning Your Piece of Texas courses, we wanted to have an online, on-demand option for rural landowners and agricultural producers interested in learning about various laws they may encounter.\u00a0 Topics include water law, oil and gas law, eminent domain, special use tax valuation, renewable energy leases, fence law, landowner liability, Right to Farm statutes, agricultural leases, access to property, and key estate planning documents.<\/p>\n

Registrants can take this 8.5 hour video course at their own pace.\u00a0 When someone registers, they will have access to the content for 2 years.\u00a0 This will allow registrants to go back and re-watch any sections as desired.<\/p>\n

Additionally, if someone is interested in just one of the topics rather than the full course, we are offering most of these topics available individually as well.<\/p>\n

We’ve worked hard on this project, and are excited to get it out into the world for use by rural Texas landowners!\u00a0 For more information or to register, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finally, for those of you who prefer an in person option, don’t worry!\u00a0 We still plan to continue our Owning Your Piece of Texas courses around the state.\u00a0 Our next event will be on September 16 in Seguin.\u00a0 Click here<\/a> for more information.\u00a0 We are working on finalizing our 2022 dates and locations, but we’re headed to Montgomery and Burnet for sure!\u00a0 We will publish that info as soon as everything is lined up.<\/p>\n
