Milk Disposal Estimator

Even if disposing milk into a wastewater processing lagoon is permitted, dumping too much milk in a day could impair lagoon functions, causing odor and water quality problems. Small-batch, multi-day discharge may lower these risks. This tool estimates the milk treatment capacity of your lagoon, and recommends the number of days it takes for the lagoon to accept all the milk.

Odors must be minimized?
Is this a lagoon processing diluted manure (approximately 2% solids)?
Does the lagoon have cover or mechanical aeration?
