  5. Goggles to eyes smoke free.<\/li>\n
  6. Boxes of matches, compass, map<\/li>\n
  7. Good pair of wire cutters capable of cutting through barbed wire.<\/li>\n
  8. Pocket knife.<\/li>\n
  9. Gloves<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Safety:<\/p>\n

    1. Drink plenty of water. Carry water with you at all times.<\/li>\n
    2. NEVER get caught in front of the fire front.<\/li>\n
    3. Take a couple of energy bars with you.<\/li>\n
    4. Be sure that you understand the equipment you are using. DO not be embarrassed to ask questions about the use of the equipment.<\/li>\n
    5. Watch out for signs of exhaustion on you and your fire crew.<\/li>\n
    6. Watch out for hot branches on the ground.<\/li>\n
    7. Be aware of where you are walking to avoid stumbling.<\/li>\n
