Kim brings expertise in consumer behavior and methodology to tourism studies
Jungkeun Kim, Ph.D., brings a strong focus on consumer behavior and expertise in experimental methodology to his new position as an associate professor in the Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism. His primary research interests focus on consumer decision-making and behavior, with applications in areas such as COVID-19, new technology adoption, moral and ethical consumption and behavioral pricing across tourism/hospitality and marketing.

Research papers note challenges, opportunities for tourism industry
With seventeen research papers featured in a prestigious graduate conference’s recent proceedings, the Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism continues to solidify its reputation as a national leader in the field. The department’s faculty and students boasted two research papers selected as finalists for the best paper award among 340 submissions at the 30th Annual Graduate Education and Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism.
