Cohort I: Government Relations (Meeting IV)

AboutAUSTIN, TX (March 21-23, 2011)—Members of Cohort I of the AgriLife Advanced Leadership Program assembled in Austin for External Relations, Session four of the inaugural program, focusing on the Texas State Legislature, as well as managing power and influence. Dr. Richard Grant welcomed members at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown with “Tools for  Change, 2011.” In addition to visiting the state capitol and the Travis County Extension Office, members of the Cohort participated in State Legislature 101. Participants representing the Texas AgriLife Extension Service presented their agency’s advocacy presentation. Session speakers and guests were:
