\u2022 Honor four 4-H\u2019ers\u00a0who have gained critical life skills in the pillar areas of\u00a0Agriculture and Animal Sciences<\/span>, Citizenship<\/span>, Healthy Living <\/span><\/em>and STEM<\/em><\/span>\u00a0and have utilized those skills to overcome a challenge<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Winners\u00a0demonstrate the\u00a0positive impact they\u2019ve made with their family, peers, and community through their 4-H experiences<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Each YIA pillar\u00a0winner receives\u00a0a $5,000 scholarship for higher education, is\u00a0featured as the 4-H Youth Spokesperson for their pillar area and enjoys an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to be recognized at the National 4-H Council’s Legacy Awards<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants<\/a> should be 4-H members or recent alumni\u00a0within the United States, ages 16-21.
