    <\/a>How to Join<\/h2>\n

    Step 1:\u00a0\u00a0 Locate a 4-H Club near you and contact the club manager.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Come on and join 4-H! It\u2019s fun! If you\u2019re in kindergarten, first grade, or second grade, you can be in Clover Kids. From third grade to age 19, you can be in 4-H!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Club meeting locations & times are noted.\u00a0 Choose which would be more convenient for your family and contact the manager to confirm their next meeting date. 4-H Club Listing<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Step 2:\u00a0\u00a0 Attend a meeting to see if it\u2019s right for you.

    Step 3:\u00a0\u00a0 Enroll on Texas 4-H, Beginning August 17th, 2026<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Once you find your club, you will then need to Enroll via Texas 4-H\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

    <\/a>4-H Age Division<\/h2>\n

    The 4-H calendar year begins September 1st and concludes on August 31st of the following year.\u00a0 The member\u2019s age division for the entire 4-H year will be determined as of September 1st of the 4-H year.\u00a0 Youth advancing grades mid-year will not be allowed to change membership divisions during that 4-H year.

    4-H Provides Life Changing Experiences<\/h3>\n

    4-H brings youth and adults together to learn everyday skills with hands-on learning. Activities from animal and plant sciences to robotics, teach 4-H\u2019ers problem-solving skills that make a positive impact upon their community. 4-H helps youth meet the diverse challenges of today\u2019s world, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and make positive decisions.<\/p>\n

    The Positive Development of Youth: Comprehensive Findings from the<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>4-H Study of Positive Youth Development<\/a><\/em>\u00a0is the first-ever research project of its kind. The decade-long study, completed by a team of researchers at the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development at Tufts University, Medford, MA, is influencing research and practice around the world.<\/p>\n
