What shows do these tags cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;If you plan to show at <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">San Antonio, San Angelo, Fort Worth, Houston, or Austin<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">all pigs (barrow, registered gilts, and crossbred gilts) must be validated<\/span>. Swine Validation Tag orders open <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">September 10th, 2025.<\/span>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I purchase Swine Validation Tags?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You must come in-person to the Fort Bend County Extension Office (if you are FBC 4-H) and purchase your tags at the FBC 4-H desk by the Early tag price deadline or Late tag price deadline (tags will not be ordered if payment is not received by Late tag price deadline). If you are FFA, please contact your AST.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I have to upload my gilt registration paperwork? Where do I upload it to?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">All registered\/purebred gilt information and paperwork must be uploaded to the gilt paper upload system before <\/span>. All paperwork uploads must be completed by the deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gilt Registration Paperwork Upload System: <a href=\"http:\/\/validate.texasffa.org\/gilt\">http:\/\/validate.texasffa.org\/gilt<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a deadline for Ownership and Litter Registration?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes. Ownership and litter registration dates of all registered gilts<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> must be on or before <\/span>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I place an order for a Swine tag? Do I use the same form used for Steer\/Heifer\/Lamb\/Goat?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No. Swine Validation tags must be placed by your supervising <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">AST, 4-H Leader, or County Extension Agent<\/span>.
