SUMMARY:Texas 4-H Teen Weekend and Camp Ambassador Program
DESCRIPTION:The Texas 4-H center will be hosting its second Teen weekend May 5-7. \n  \nWe are interested in responsible teens who have aged out of traditional camp and are interested in taking on more of a leadership role. Love camp? Love building relationships? Love testing your ability as a young leader?? Then come to the Texas 4-H Center for Teen Weekend Pt.2!! Here at our teen weekend\, your teen will receive all the required training to be ready for success this summer! Time management / CPR / First Aid / Public speaking / Critical thinking / Resume building / and leadership ability! \n  \nAt the end of this weekend your teen will have the ability to sign up for any camp they wish to help with FOR FREE\, leaving the week with 50+ Hrs. of volunteer service hours. You read that right\, your child will still get to enjoy everything they love about camp while taking on a role that gives them more personal responsibility. With this you will also get the opportunity to potentially be a team leader during camp and lead your team to victory for the camp spirit trophy! If you or someone you know has a teen in mind for this opportunity\, please have them register for Teen Weekend!! You must have attended the teen training to be utilized as a teen counselor.
