Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service has developed a program, Path to the Plate, to help in educating consumers so they can make informed decisions when it comes to their health. Agriculture plays an important role in many ways when it comes to our daily lives, including health. Through the Path to the Plate program, consumers will find information that can be used when making decisions about the food they eat, the connection to their health and the relationship with agriculture. This information is unbiased and research-based. The From the Ground Up-Connecting Agriculture and Health conference is one outreach method for the Path to the Plate program.
