 Application Rate, Broadcast: 1 to 1.5 pounds of product per acre (3.5 tablespoons/1000 sq ft)

 Speed of Control: very slow, 3 – 6 months

 Duration of Control: 3 – 12 months after maximum control, varies with reinvasion pressure; one application per year is usually sufficient

 Approximate product cost: $12 per pound (in 25 lb. bags), $12 per acre

 Best used for: applications to large areas where speed of control is not a concern and cost is. One of the few choices for agricultural land of almost any type

 General Comments: Extinguish® Professional is virtually unrestricted in its use sites, which makes it the product of choice for most agricultural uses. It is also inexpensive. Its only drawback is slow speed of control, but it can be mixed with faster baits to speed control. The 50:50 hopper blend of Extinguish + Amdro® Pro is labeled for pasture use and is a generally better choice for this use than either product applied alone.

 Test results indicate that Extinguish® Professional can be mixed and applied with fertilizer with little loss of effectiveness, IF APPLIED IMMEDIATELY.
