On Friday, March 4 our Food & Nutrition Project team went to Dallas to compete in the District IV Food Challenge Competition and rocked it! There were three teams and 12 members who competed. The Junior team called “Mean Milkers” were Jack Porter, Caleb Arris, Carson Arris, Brisa Dougan and Gavin Collier. The Intermediate team called the “Fannin Foodies” were Aiden Staub, Brendan McMurrey, Randy Arris Jr. and Preston Berg. The Senior team called the “Fannin Feeders” were Dreyvan Strickland, Carson Kincade and Danielle Berg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Junior team won a Spirit Award with their adorable cow printed aprons, as well as 3rd place in the Competition. The Intermediate team won 4th place in the Competition.<\/p>\n

We greatly appreciate Tonia Arris for teaching the Food & Nutrition Project and being an outstanding Project Leader. We also appreciate the parents who came and supported our members through competition. This would not have been possible without any of our phenomenal parents!<\/p>\n
