Internships provide an opportunity for students to explore their career interests and gain professional experience prior to entering the workforce. Through these internships, student receive real-life experience, apply what they’ve learned in the classroom, build leadership, character and life skills, and take the first step in starting a rewarding career in animal agriculture and business.
Students earning a degree in animal science or biomedical science are encouraged to participate in an internship, which often times leads to full-time employment.
