It is safe to say that one common feature between mosquito species is their ability to locate and bite people. Mosquitoes are considered the biggest medical threat to humans, since they are able capable of spreading many diseases. Mosquitoes are known to transmit a variety of pathogens that result in diseases, such as West Nile Virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, and Yellow Fever. These diseases kill millions of humans worldwide.
