Research interests
I am passionate about maintaining an environment that is livable for humans as well as wildlife. My interests therefore lie in the fields of wildlife ecotoxicology and environmental science. I am interested in the effects of humans, industry and pollution on the environment and nature. Because water is the most important resource in the world, I am also interested in understanding how to detect and prevent the degradation of water quality. My dissertation research involves the protection and/or improvement of water quality by assessing the nutrient and E. coli contribution of colonial waterbirds on watersheds in Texas using fecal sterol analysis.
