“Permision is requested to accept consultation and/or outside employment.  The proposed employment will not interfere with the performance of my assigned duties and responsibilities within the Texas A&M University System.  It is in a field in which I have unusual or unique competence.  In such outside employment, I shall act as an individual and not as a representative of the Texas A&M University System, AgriLife Research or Extension”

If you DO NOT have outside employment please send me an email stating “I do not have any outside work and /or consulting.”

If you DO have outside employment please complete, sign and return the following form by email to Janet Case by August 31:

  • The period of request is September 1 – August 31

  • Each question on the form must be answered – do not leave any blanks

  • Please note that Question #1 asks for an address.  Even if you are self-employed, please list an address.

  • Nature of Work Examples: Judging Livestock Shows; Raising Show Goats; Training Horses, Breeding, genetic selection and raising cattle;  operate small family cattle & sheet operation; Beef Cattle Ranch Management and Operation; Mending & Alterations

  • Benefits to the Employee Examples: Supplemental Income;  Practical Application Experience; Ability to maintain true decision making with producers; sharpen livestock evaluation skills for working with 4-H projects; Ability to stay up-to-date on industry and uses of new and/or improved technology

  • Benefits to AgriLife: Ability to stay updated and educated in the field of Animal Science; Knowledge of practical application and experience; Ability to maintain true decision making with producers; sharpen livestock evaluation skills for working with 4-H projects; to raise animals that can be utilized in several industries to continue to improve artificial insemination techniques; N/A
