Howdy!<\/p>\n

It is time to submit your county holiday schedule for FY2024 (9\/1\/23 \u2013 8\/31\/24).
\nThe \u201cDRAFT\u201d is due by AUGUST 31, 2023, and the \u201cFINAL\u201d is due by JANUARY 15, 2024.<\/p>\n

All AgriLife Extension employees will be entitled to observe Thirteen (13) paid holidays in FY2024
\n(9\/1\/23 \u2013 8\/31\/24).<\/p>\n

You may choose holidays from a pre-existing list of common holidays, selecting \u201cother\u201d
\nto enter in a custom holiday and\/or select floating state holiday(s), if applicable.
\n*SPECIAL NOTE* – If your county will be observing \u201cGood Friday\u201d … please refer to it as a
\n\u201cPersonal Holiday\u201d and enter the date of March 29, 2024.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
\n\u2022 A \u201cDRAFT\u201d of the anticipated holidays for FY24 (9\/1\/23 \u2013 8\/31\/24) is required.
\n\u2022 Estimate and submit a \u201cDRAFT\u201d of 13 anticipated holidays, based on last year\u2019s holiday
\nschedule even if the court hasn\u2019t approved the county holiday schedule for calendar year 2024.
\n\u2022 You must submit a \u201cFinal\u201d submission (with 13 holidays) as soon as you receive the court
\napproved holiday schedule.
\n\u2022 If your County has more than 13 scheduled holidays … AgriLife Extension employees must work or
\nuse vacation on the additional scheduled county holiday dates.
\n\u2022 If your County has less than 13 scheduled holidays … please enter the appropriate number of
\nFloating State Holidays in the box at the top of the list.
\n\u2022 Floating state holidays (if applicable) will not be entered in Workday until after the
\n\u201cFINAL\u201d
\nholiday schedule is submitted.
\n\u2022 You will continue to receive automated reminder emails until your \u201cDraft\u201d and\/or \u201cFinal\u201d holiday
\nschedule is submitted. So, please submit these ASAP.
\n\u2022 Once you submit your \u201cFINAL\u201d holiday schedule, your ability to make changes will be deactivated.
\nContact Doris Tykal at doris.tykal@ag.tamu.edu to reactivate your account, if you need to revise
\nthe \u201cFINAL\u201d holidays submitted.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFINAL\u201d is due by JANUARY 15, 2024: Include 13 court approved county holidays that will be
\nobserved from September 1, 2023 \u2013 August 31, 2024. (Also, list the number of floating state
\nholidays, if applicable.)<\/p>\n
