CGEL works closely with AgriLife Research partners at the Genomics and Bioinformatics Service Lab, led by Charlie Johnson, and the Multi-Crop Transformation Facility, led by Marco and Mayra Molina under the direction of Libo Shan, Director of the Institute for Plant Genomics and Biotechnology (IPGB), to provide a complete gene editing pipeline for crop improvement. Bioinformatics and systems genomics analyses are also performed in collaboration with the Center for Bioinformatics and Genomic System Engineering under the direction of CBGSE Director Aniruddha Datta.
