Its aim is to help youth acquire a positive self concept, rational social behavior, knowledge and problem solving capabilities. Boys and girls from 3rd grade to 12th grade regardless of social-economic level, race, color, sex, religion, handicap, national origin or geographic location may participate. For more information about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/texas4-h.tamu.edu\/\">Texas 4-H<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/d94-h.tamu.edu\/\">District 9 4-H<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/4-h.org\/\">National 4-H<\/a>\u00a0programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 4-H calendar year begins September 1st and concludes on August 31st of the following year.\u00a0 The member\u2019s age division for the entire 4-H year will be determined as of September 1st of the 4-H year.\u00a0 Youth advancing grades mid-year will not be allowed to change membership divisions during that 4-H year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 55px; width: 99.8303%; background-color: #f2efe6;\" border=\"1px solid green\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 31.6647%; border: 2px solid green; text-align: center;\"><strong>Clover Kids<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades Kindergarten,<br \/>\n1st &amp; 2nd<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 21.6371%; border: 2px solid green; text-align: center;\"><strong>Junior<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades<br \/>\n3rd, 4th &amp; 5th<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 24.2793%; border: 2px solid green; text-align: center;\"><strong>Intermediate<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades<br \/>\n6th, 7th &amp; 8th<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 47.6617%; border: 2px solid green; text-align: center;\"><strong>Senior<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades<br \/>\n9th, 10th, 11th &amp; 12th<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>There\u2019s a 4-H activity for everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From food science and robotics to fashion design and photography, not to mention livestock projects, there\u2019s sure to be something that sparks your interest. Here is a list of projects that are currently offered in Galveston County. When you request information on a club, just let us know what projects you are interested in and we can help find which club is best for you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Livestock &amp; Animal Projects (cattle, sheep, goats, swine, poultry, rabbits)<\/li>\n<li>Food &amp; Nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Fashion &amp; Interior Design<\/li>\n<li>Photography<\/li>\n<li>Horse<\/li>\n<li>Shooting Sports<\/li>\n<li>Dog Care &amp; Training<\/li>\n<li>Veterinary Science<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Consumer Education<\/li>\n<li>Public Speaking<\/li>\n<li>Robotics<\/li>\n<li>And more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>How to choose your 4-H project:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Select a project you like.<br \/>\n\u2013 Consider the money and time it will take.<br \/>\n\u2013 Consider the space and equipment that you have at home.<br \/>\n\u2013 A 4-H project should be fun, serve a purpose, and be worth the effort.<br \/>\n\u2013 Select only the number of projects you can complete. Start small and work your way up!<\/p>\n<p>Didn\u2019t see anything that interests you? 4-H offers many different project areas \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/texas4-h.tamu.edu\/projects\/\"><strong>check out the list of projects<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to see what looks fun to you, and you can do an independent project or start a new project area!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How you can join a club?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Start by finding that club fits your family best in Brazoria County.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agrilife.org\/brazoria4h\/clubs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for a list of our clubs.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Youth join for $25!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>September 1 thru October 31 enrollment due is $25.
