Star Awards Interviews -May 23rdstar

The Star Awards are a series of awards showing progression of the 4-H members involvement, including growth and diversification of both the 4-H member and their projects/events. This is achieved by submitting a 4-H Recordbook, which will be evaluated by judges and displays members project work and achievement, leadership, and personal growth and development.  The Star Awards series begins with Junior Level Awards the “Bronze Star” (Step 1) and “Green Star” awards (Step 2).  Next is the Intermediate awards:  The “Rising Star” (Step 3) – and “Silver Star” (Step 4).  Our Senior level awards are the, Danforth “I Dare You” National Award and the “Gold Star” (Steps 5 and 6).

Each award may only be received once

These awards were designed to be received in the sequence stated, but being a prior recipient of an award is not a requirement. Once you have received a step award you may not apply for a lower step award (no regression).
