Recordbooks will be due to the Brazoria County Extension Office by May 19th
The 4-H recordbook is an organized presentation of what you have learned and accomplished in 4-H. When accurately kept and carefully assembled, it is a useful tool for determining your own progress and personal growth. The recordbooks document knowledge, attitudes and skills that have been learned. They relate the experiences in leadership, citizenship and community service that have been shared.
Why keep records? 4-H records help you develop a recordbook, as well as apply for awards, scholarships and college. The recordbook is the complete history of a member’s 4-H activities. 1st place winners in each category, and age division at County judging will advance to district. Senior 4-H members who place 1st in district advance to the state recordbook judging.
Record keeping can be fun, because it is something that you create! It can be a calendar on the wall, a notebook, or your computer. Whatever works best for you!
