Brazoria County Fair Association

Youth opportunities abound at this large exposition. From livestock project exhibition to youth calf scramblers, horse show events to hobbies and craft shows, scholarship programs to youth leadership opportunities. Most entries are due during the latter part of August with the “big event” itself scheduled for early October. Validations of market animals occur throughout the spring and summer months for this show. For more information visit the Brazoria County Fair Association website.

Junior Creative & Culinary Arts

No pre- registration. To enter, bring your forms and tagged items to the Hall of Exhibits on TBA between TBA, pay (TBA) at the front of the Hall of Exhibits and bring your receipt to the JCCA area and check your items in there. Just fill out the forms below ahead of time and we will give you an exhibitor number on the day of the show. Be sure to review the rules and classes documents

  •  4-H, FFA, FCCLA, and YAC members can enter up to 20 items in the  Junior Creative & Culinary Arts Contest.
  • The grand prize cookie and cake in each age group is sold in the live auction during the Junior Livestock Auction.
  • Top five high point contestants receive trophies

Schedule of Events

October 7, 2023 – Registration and check in 9:00am-12:00pm

  • Bring tagged items with eligibility form to Hall of Exhibits
  • This year you will pay your entry fee at the main Hall of Exhibits check in
  • Once you have checked in proceed to the JCCA area with your items, here is where you will get your entry number and finish checking in.

TBA – Results can be viewed in the Hall of Exhibits, Division IV Baked Confections results will be available online (here).

October 15, 2023 – Awards – Sunday at 4pm in the Entertainment Hall – anyone receiving Best of Show and Grand Champion ribbons will be recognized, as well as, the High Point winners.

TBA –  JCCA Grand Champion Baked Cookies and Cakes Live Auction, 6:00pm-10:00pm in the Auditorium

October 22, 2023  – Release – pick up all items and Division IV ribbons between 8:00am-11:00am. If for some reason you are unable to pick up your items please contact brazoria@ag.tamu.edu ahead of time.
