Any 4-H volunteer can become a 4-H shooting sports coach: RIFLE – ARCHERY – SHOTGUN – PISTOL

All members planning to participate in the county 4-H point horse shows need to validate their horses. Go to https://agrilife.org/brazoria4h/projects/horse/

Before you begin, you will need

1. a front, side, and rear view photo of your horse
2. Ownership papers: registration page or lease agreement or completed grade horse form

Major Show Heifer validation will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 2pm-5pm at the fairgrounds show arena for BCFA exhibitors wishing to validate any heifers they have on site during the fair. All other heifers can be validated on October 26, 2019 from 8am-10am at the fairgrounds show arena. The cost of $15 will need to be paid at time validation. Send color scans of registration paper to clatour@ag.tamu.edu . Official registration paper must be on hand for validation.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offices of Brazoria County are being renovated. While this is great news and we are excited about the face lift, it does affect our 4-H program. What does this mean to 4-H program?

The 4-H office is open as usual from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Come on in! we are here somewhere in the chaos.

The 4-H clubs that meet in the extension auditorium will meet just down the road at BEES center located at 585 Hospital Drive in Angleton

Robotics, Vet Sciences and MYOB Project groups will not meet in October. November locations are to be determined

County Council meetings and events are cancelled for September. Stay tuned for October locations. The council officers had an awesome program planned for this month that will be rescheduled.
