About Our Club

Alvin 4-H is made up of a great group of kids who believe that hard work and determination can really change the world! While our 4-H members range in age from 8 to 18, our club also has clover kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Our 4-H members gain life-long skills through the motto, “Learn by Doing”. With projects from public speaking to nutrition to photography and even robotics, there is sure to be a project area to interest you. And of course, many of our members enjoy learning responsibility and hard work by raising livestock. We love doing community service, and attempt to complete a service project each month. Alvin 4-H initially began in 1950; and, although we cherish the generations of knowledge that has been passed down, we eagerly look to the future in all that we do. We encourage you to come check out one of our meetings to see the latest club happenings. Also, please like our Facebook page at Alvin 4-H.
