We need your help! Each year, the Bell County 4-H hosts fundraisers to help with the costs of supporting our youth.

Fun for the Whole Family!

We need your help! Each year, the Bell County 4-H hosts fundraisers to help with the costs of supporting our youth.

Our event is called the Hunter’s Spectacular and will be held October 1, 2016 at the Bell County Expo Center.  We will have lots of fun things for the whole family at the event including a meal, silent auction, live auction, vendors, and even have games. We will also have a drawing for 20 guns, hunting equipment, t-shirts for sale and lots of other fun prizes. For the young people, we have games and activities and even a cake walk. A live auction of outdoor items will take place that evening as well as a silent auction with the hunter in mind. We also have a silent auction for the families to partake in. The grand prize drawing will be a safe donated by Academy in Temple. You must be present to win the grand prize!

We need our 4-H members to sell tickets to the eventYour club manager will be asking each of you to participate and we want you to know that we utilize the funds raised for the total Bell County 4-H program….which includes you! We are able to help offset the costs of many events, camps, livestock supplies, workshops, contests, and leadership activities through these funds. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to call the Extension Office and visit with Sheryl about the event. All your tickets should be turned in to your club manager September 21 – 25. Club managers will have to turn in tickets on September 28-30(Tickets are available through your club manager starting August 1st)

8—11 a.m. then 1-4 p.m.   NEW THIS YEAR ~  Club managers will deposit all money sold by their members into their club account.  Managers will then write a check to Bell 4-H for your total amount of tickets sold

Tractor Supply Paper Clover Campaign

The Tractor Supply Paper Clover Campaign takes place at our local Tractor Supply Stores! (Killeen and Temple). Proceeds go back to our County. All you have to do is buy a clover at the store and the money goes to our 4-H program! If you would like to help with our paper clover campaign by helping sell clovers, let us know! It is a great way to help! You can even do a show and tell with your 4-H items and animals at the stores! Please call the office to help!

The Fall 2014 TSC Paper Clover Campaign is scheduled October . The clovers are only $1 and we received over $2,000 this year from the last clover campaign. We really need clubs to help participate and pick a day to stand outside and sell the paper clovers. If your club is interested, please email Barbara Wood woodbtwice@gmail.com and sign up for a day to help! We have 2 stores in Bell County, Killeen and Temple. Please sign up and help!

Funds help the county pay for workshops, camps & many other great opportunities for you as a member!
